DIESEL PARK WEST: 'THERE'S A GRACE'
DANVILLE:
RELEASE DATE: MONDAY 21ST MAY 2007

Any new Diesel Park West releases are an event to be welcomed by all fans of musical taste and discernment.
So, it is with great pleasure that we announce the release of a sparkling new single, entitled 'There's A Grace, released on Monday 27th May 2007
It is a fine, immaculately constructed and typically tuneful offering from one of our most undervalued combos, taking the West Coast guitar template vividly into the here and now, with guitarist Rich Willson chipping in a twelve string break of ringing majesty, atop an insistent rhythmic propulsion, and a soulful vocal lead from John Butler that has ‘winner’ written all the way through it.
This is but the first salvo from the band’s forthcoming album, Blood And Grace, to be released on Monday 11th June 2007, wherein you will find nine other prime examples of this most deserving, most underrated of bands.
The members of Diesel Park West are available for all manner of promotion
in support
of this fine release. If you'd like to meet up for a natter with the band, please
contact Alan & Lesley at Indiscreet PR to arrange an interview.

“If God’s got a favourite songwriter, I think it’s
John Prine.” – Kris Kristofferson, November 4th 2003, at Prine’s induction into the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame.
John Prine has, for over thirty-five years, been writing, singing and recording amazing music. From his self-titled debut album in 1971 to his recent Grammy Award-winning Fair And Square, he is a true songwriting hero to his fans and his peers.
Discovered by Kris Kristofferson, and covered by everyone from The Everly Brothers and Dwight Yoakam to Bette Midler and 10,000 Maniacs, his original sound and affecting lyrics have given him a kind of stature and longevity uncommon in the music world.
John Prine’s appearance on the prestigious PBS concert series Soundstage, offers his fans a real treasure. Included in his set list are the early classics Angel From Montgomery, and Hello In There, as well as songs from his signature album, Bruised Orange. We also get a rare and intimate look at John in his hometown of Maywood, Illinois.
Here he takes us to the actual scene of The Accident, and then, to the back porch of his childhood home, where he performs Paradise and How Lucky. All of this, plus performances with special guest Billy Lee Riley document the authentic and natural genius of the singer-songwriter.
